Vetiver is a perennial plant native to Indonesia that can grow up to 2.5 meters high. The plant's roots are said to prevent soil erosion. Vetiver has a slightly smoky scent with a grapefruit, hazelnut facet. It usually adds a very characteristic woody note and is traditionally associated with masculinity, even though it is found in some women’s perfumes.
